Adblock issue when entering mag dailies

I have been having a problem with entering mag dailies (Ideal Home, Maria Claire, InStyle etc). With Adblock turned on, upon entering the form and submitting, I get a message on the page saying:
It appears you have ad block enabled which maybe effecting the functionality of the website. To ensure you have maximum usability, please turn ad blocker off and refresh the page.

While we confirm your competition entry, please take the time to view the video promotion. Your entry will be automatically submitted when the video ends.

No video appears, nor does confirmation of entry. With adblock turned off, the video still does not appear, but after waiting for around a minute I receive confirmation of entry. Anyone else have this issue? I've had the same results in Firefox and Chrome.

Once you turn adblock off you need to refresh the page and if needed-be answer the question again.

It should then complete as expected. Quicker than waiting.

i get the message on all the Time Inc. mag dailies. They close after the time the video would take, but you don't need to stay on the page. I just open a new tab & move to the next comp.

Same here. Just wait and it will submit eventually.
