Just leaving a quick note not to go for Artistic Motion - they come up as quite cheap but have absolutely ruined any memory of my wedding. Almost a year and no video and they now no longer respond.

Try posting a job on peopleperhour.com, i've just done so looking for a videographer and i've found some great options for £400.

I'm sure you could get a good cheap photographer from there too.

Mine was £250 for 3 hours .. most of the pics are fab. They are all natural, rather than stiff posed fake pictures. Quite a lot of motion shots of the children.

Get a list of local photographers and ring them and tell them what it is you are looking for. Say their wedding packages are too formal and you don't need all the bells and whistles.. you don't need an album or a USB stick in a pretty wooden box.. You will be able to arrange something. The cheapest 'wedding package' mine offered was £1200.. I haggled a bit

Mine was £250 for 3 hours on a Monday. But he's in North Yorkshire. But they do exist if you search your area.
