    Issued :rotfl:w:j
  • I had same problem Chris, contact them they will have to put it through manually. Don't request it again as you'll have to wait another 48hours before they can do anything. They manually done my last night and pending this morning, said it will be issued on the 20th
  • I used the online chat and they said it was issued to my bank today so I am hoping that I too receive it tomorrow..
  • After being told yesterday on the phone i had 'security checks' dont call back before the 29th may. Checked online this morning and its been issued ohh well happy days.

I've always got the feeling, unless there is some thing defiantly wrong, that they just tell people anything because they see it as better than admitting they have no idea

I’m a partner in an accountancy practice which has approx 150 CIS clients, we have to participate in this dance multiple times every year.

    1. Do not believe anything you’re told over the phone, be that as a ‘civilian’ or a tax agent. Until the first batch of repayments are issued nobody knows which ones have been selected for a security check. Repayments are randomly selected just before/at the issued stage. HMRC will tell you anything at this stage.

    2. Filing your return on the sixth or up until the ninth makes no difference, returns submitted between these dates will be issued at the same time. Early on, a weekly batch system is used.

    3. At the beginning of the tax year payments are issued on wednesdays and Fridays due to volume, eventually things plateau and payments are issued on any day Monday to Friday. This normally happens at the beginning of May.

    4. If you’re the lucky recipient of a security check, and if it’s been ten working days this is probably the case, keep ringing. They’ll tell you to wait X amount of days but the actual check is very fast, the delay is person a not communicating with person b, being a nuisance does speed things up, and hey, it’s your money.
  • I got bank repayment with today’s date 18th apr
Normally get a email saying logon to your account to view messages telling you money has been electronically transferred. But got nothing this year has any 1 else received a email confirming payment or just me?
  • Has it gone in?
