Mortgage options if one partner has credit history

I have recently paid off my DMP and am looking to get a mortgage with my wife.
We each earn a decent salary with my wife earning significantly more than me, however because of my credit history, most mortgage lenders will only take my wife into account.
Are there any options for the two of us to have a joint application, as at present, the offer is circa 25% lower than it could be due to my credit history being on file for 6 years?
Many thanks.
