Sainsbury's Tu ½ price clothing sale - started again today, May 1st.

Sainsbury's Tu clothing ½ price sale - up to half price on selected items.
Staff were busily marking items down when I was in there earlier today.
Online and instore
Womenswear only at the moment but menswear and childrenswear sale starts later in the week.
Official MoneySavingExpert insert Tue 10 Apr: If you go online to Sainsbury’s Tu or in larger stores which sell clothing (find your nearest) you can get up to 50% off selected Tu clothing.
When we checked on Tue 10 Apr, there were 450+ items available in the sale online – covering women’s, men’s, kids’ and baby clothing.
Sainsbury’s says there’s no official end date for the sale and it’s while stock lasts, so go quick if there’s something you want.

I am detecting a pattern here - 1/2 price reductions the week after 25% off!
To me a sign the stuff is over-priced anyway. By overpriced, I don't mean expensive for the consumer - I mean from a sweatshop, as the supermarkets will still be making a health margin on the stock they want to clear to make way for new. Tu clothing is generally hardwearing, but I'd really like to know more about its provenance.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!
