Shared Ownership Self Employed

Hello Everyone,
I am looking to buy a shared ownership property because I cannot afford to stay in my current home. I am struggling because the housing associations are telling me that I can't run my business from a shared ownership property. Any ideas would be hugely appreciated. Thank you.

I specialise in shared ownership and I think it depends what kind of business

if it is something which may annoy your neighbours then they can vito it e.g. car repair

if it is just the administration side of the business I would have thought it would be ok
