Strange Loan Application problems

I would speak to callcredit directly about it and then write to them to confirm the details as the lack of electoral roll sounds like an error (assuming you were registered on the electoral roll at the previous address). I had an issue (can't remember which agency) of lack of electoral roll and address a few years back and it took a few months to sort it out but I got there in the end...0

Don't apply under your old address. You'll end up with a CIFAS record if you're not careful.
Get out of overdraft. Wait until you've been at your new address longer than six months. Then reapply.0 -
Noddle only shows the current electoral role info (not previous)
Do your existing and previous addresses show under Address Links?
I moved late last year and it took a little while for the electoral one to update, although you may ask them to update it, they will double check against the electoral role - this can take 6 weeks for the council to update and push the change out, then a month for Noddle to update. I think when i did mine it didn't appear for 2/3 months after i moved.
Raise a dispute on the Electoral role page as a wrong address.
Have you checked other CRA's like clearscore to see if they are right?
As others have mentioned patience is what you need when moving and clearing any debt like an OD will help.
You also said "We applied for a loan" was it just you applying or a joint application? That could impact it too.0 -
I moved home this time last year, and this week Noddle have got around to noting my new address, but they still don't have me on the electoral roll even though I'm on it.
Clear Score have me at my new address and on the electoral roll, and have done since May 2017.
I don't know which agency Halifax use but I got a loan with them in December for £8k at 3.5% without a problem.
Maybe some research into which loan companies use which agency may help."There are not enough superlatives in the English language to describe a 'Princess Coronation' locomotive in full cry. We shall never see their like again". O S Nock0
