Hi All,
Not sure if this is in the right place as was warned this forum is for telling about great offers?
Anyway, please delete or move if in the wrong section.
I have a few questions about a CCJ:
The Creditor is not listed on my Credit Report (ClearScore) and i dont know who it is with, I think it may be Me III Ltd. but cannot find any contact details for them.
Also, the CCJ was issues in Jan 2016 and i haven't heard a single thing since, is this normal?
Thanks for any help!

Having looked on these forums a bit, i'm guessing it is ME III as it was originally with Restons (can see they are linked) but i don't remember anything about it.IS there a process i can follow to ensure all was done correctly before contacting them to arrange repayment?
Thanks0 -
Hi ColonelSanders
Your credit report ought to feature the claim number for the CCJ - with this you should be able to establish who the claimant was by getting in touch with the court where the CCJ was issued, and take it from there.
In addition to the three credit reference agencies (Experian, Equifax and Callcredit) you can also check for any CCJs at https://www.trustonline.org.uk/

Thanks for the quick response Dennis, i'll do that as I genuinely do want to clear it up. I just can't remember anything about it, is it unusual to not hear about it for 2 years +??
Thanks again0 -

No not really, sometimes legal action gets taken on a bulk portfolio of old debts, they concentrate on the ones who contact them to pay up, they may eventually get around to you, or they may deem the debt unrecoverable.
Do they have your current address ?
as i am guessing all court papers must of gone to a previous address, is that correct ?
Further enforcement action costs them more money you see, with no guarantee of any return, how much was the CCJ for ?I’m a Forum Ambassador and I support the Forum Team on the Debt free wannabe, Credit file and ratings, and Bankruptcy and living with it boards. I was given a CCJ in 2009 from Office Depot, which was passed to MIL Collections Ltd, they sent a few letters, swore at me at on the phone to pay it. But nothing ever came of it, plus the CCJ dropped off my credit file in around 2013/2014.0

Cheers Sourcrates,
Makes sense, It is roughly £900 and yes, it is all related to an old address (Well the ref on my Credit file is an old address)
Would it be worth leaving as the damage is done or carry on trying to find them!0 -
