Expedia train tickets booking fee

I booked train tickets via Quidco on Expedia yesterday to avail of the 3% cashback from the Quidco app. Checking my credit card statement today, in addition to the cost of the ticket, there is a transaction of £1 paid to "SilverRail". Is this a booking fee? I can't recall being informed about this during the booking process on the Expedia website.

Turns out the £1 on my credit card was only a pending charge which has disappeared now that the ticket payment has been confirmed. Anyone know why this pending charge might have been created?0
