Santander - Experiences

Can anyone give any recent feedback on Santander.

Specifically looking for,

1) how many months bank statements did they ask for?
2) how long did completion take from application to completion?
3) is everything done electronically ? Email/ online portal or all relying on post?

    1. None
    2. 8 weeks exactly
    3. I applied online and I submitted scanned payslip on the portal

I was pleased how smoothly it went no issues from my experience

Thankyou. This is theory would be perfect. Could do with a little quicker than 8 weeks but still I!!!8217;d take that.

Out if interest what was your LTV? Ours is 79%.

And do they define what documents you need immediately after online application or contact you afterwards?

My LTV was 66%. 8 weeks is not bad. They were quick to get the valuation done. They just asked for the docs when I submitted the full app online and via email.

I can!!!8217;t speak for every app so they may ask for more docs depending on the case

    Anyone else?

    Basically I’m a bit stuck.

Do I apply and hope they only ask for 1 months statements.

Or they ask for more statements which I the suspect I would be declined but then I’ve got a full application of credit on my credit file.

Which means I’ll likely go elsewhere and have another full application.

Youll be more likely to find the answers you need if you give more detail on why you think youll be declined if they see more than one months statments. Others who have had the same concerns can then give you more specific answers

Just read your earlier thread, for those who need more background information:

Say I applied and either decided not to go ahead with the application or it was declined.

How detrimental is the application in my credit file? Bearing in mind I’d have to apply elsewhere?
