Tesco deals advice

Hi, apoligies if i'm in the wrong place, but could anyone explain how the tesco deals work. I am wanting to use my vouchers on a magazine subscription do I have to send my coupons off for them to be replaced by deal tokens which I then send of to the relevent company? Also as its a gift for xmas when is the best time to do it?

You go to the tesco website and order the deal tokens online. They send them to you with all the instructions and then you fill in the forms and post them off to the relevant address. They then arrange the subscription for you. If you are doing it for gifts then I would do it sooner rather than later to allow for the post.

I know this seems thick but when it asks how many deal tokens do I need do I just ask for 1 ( per subscription?) and do I enter my clubcard number so that they deduct the value from my total accrued?

HI,

When you go online @ http://www.tesco.com/clubcard/deals/browse.aspx?N=4294966467&bid=HMagazines and find the magazine subscription you want.

At the right hand side enter how mny subscriptions you want.... most likley 1... then add to basket. It will tell you how many deals you need, click on check out and then it will ask you for your clubcard vouchers. On your ccv it will have a code, enter this were it asks and then it will take that value of the voucher off the outstanding price.

If you vouchers total over that amount the remainder will be refunded to your account next quarter.

sorry to hijack but along the very same lines!
I'm wanting to get a couple of mag subscriptions as gifts for xmas too. How do you know they will start at the right time? and they won't get the first issue sent to their house before christmas?! Are there options for all this in the forms you get sent when you order the deal tokens? Am I just worrying pointlessly?!!...

The subscriptions do take a whil to start - a couple of months at least

I ordered some in September (not as a xmas Present) and I have had a letter to say that the first issue will be december so hopefully if you do it straight away you might get december as the first issue. If not I doubt it will be far behind.

Do you know if you can get the magazines sent to the recipients address instead of mine?
That way I would be happy for the first one to be in Jan as I could put Dec in their hamper.

I sent away for a magazine subscription as a gift for somone for xmas, the deal tokens were delivered on 7/12/07, does anyone know how long it will be before I get a reply from them telling me when the first issue will be. I have put a December issue in with their present anyway but wanted to put a little message in there with the details as well.
