Board guide has stated its only group chats affected not one on one so I think it will be ok for the most part

I was just about to post this. It only affects group chats so we will still be able to DM each other. The Mods and Forum VIPs still need to be able to message us from time to time with updates so I'm sure they won't remove the individual DM facility.
