    As of Monday 30th Sept, Aldi will no longer be selling newspapers and magazines. I was told they don't make any money on them , and the unsold copies are not being collected and returned so Aldi have been having to bear the cost. Very short-sighted in my opinion and I stated this in-store. Many folk call in for newspaper and will almost always pick up other items. If folk have to go to a competitor store they'll do their shopping their too.
