Does anyone recommend any of the libraries around Belfast? Some friends have suggested Linenhall but this has a subscription fee and I'm not sure it's worth it.

There are others listed here too http://www.librariesni.org.uk/Libraries/Pages/Belfast-Central-Library.aspx0 -
On the LibrariesNI site you can browse their catalogue and reserve books (once you set-up an account using a Pin Number and your library card). You can also download ebooks and magazines.

NI libraries is great, particularly if you travel a lot or on holidays as it saves you taking physical books with you. Yesterday I finished one ebook just before they closed the doors on a flight home, by the time the safety briefing was done I'd returned it and downloaded the next in the series to read on that flight. Still prefer real books at home mind you0
