Tax free childcare - taxable income question

Hi all

Our daughter is due to start nursery in July and we are deciding on the tax free childcare or childcare voucher options.

Does anyone know how your taxable income is calculated re TFC? Will it be your taxable income per your latest p60 that is available/calculated?

Yeah thanks.

I’ve read this but it doesn’t answer my question about how the taxable income is actually calculated. If you are well under a £100,000 a year salary it’s not really an issue but it’s something that needs to be understood for anyone close to the amount who may breach it in the next/current tax year.
