Loan company sold my account!

Hi I’m just looking for some advice. I called my loan company moneyways to change the date of the DD. They advised me they can no longer discuss my account as it’s been sold to another company called Anacap. Can they do that and what will happen to my current DD that’s due in a few days? Will it be the same monthly payment and when will it be took? I called Anacap and they couldn’t tell me anything.
The guy at moneyways said I can’t even see if your next payment is due out as it’s not our account anymore.

I’m really worried they will ask for more money a month or even the full amount. Surely this can’t happen, as my details for my bank have been sent to a third party??

What does the agreement say about this ?

I bet in there it will say the account can be sold and you account details passed onto a third party.

Yes accounts get sold/bought alot of the time, perfectly ok.

Perfectly normal. Maintain your usual payments.

If you've defaulted and are paying back less than contractual, they may want to discuss that with you.
