Question about mortgage app and p60

Hello
Me and my partner are planning on applying for a mortgage in March/April next year but I was wondering about my p60?
If I haven’t got 2018/2019 tax year p60 by the time we come to apply il have to use 2017/2018 p60 but this one shows myself earning £10000 in that year were as I started a new job in February 2018 which is higher paid so 2018/2019 tax year il be earning £17000
Would they question it if I had to use 2017/2018 p60 showing me earning less than I do now or would it not matter when I would be giving them 3 months recent wage slips anyway?
Possibly a silly question but oh well I’m useless

It depends on the lender and whether you are employed or self employed, fixed term or permanent. If you are permanent and not self employed then you likely won't need to submit your P60 with your application.Homeowner:j0

Only "employees" (or Schedule E taxpayers) get a P60.
Typically, lenders use a P60 as evidence of employment, rather than evidence of income.
If you get a lender which insists on it, you should be able to substitute your Month 12 or Week 52/53 payslip for it.I am a mortgage broker.
