Next payment?

I have a next credit account. My bill is managable but my question is: how late can i pay my bill? My next payment says it is “due by 6th of april”. Does this mean I can pay it on that day? Or does it have to be the 5th of april at latest before i get charged? The only reason i ask is i budget every month by calculating my bills total, deducting from monthly income and then diving the remains by 4 and giving me a weekly allowance to spend on whatever. Because i am paid every 4 weeks im due to be paid ob the 6th of april (usually around 12:30am) and then i would Escape paying my next bill out of my next pay if that makes sense? As pay day will be may 4th. Reason I ask is i have over spent a bit this month so it would be a massive help if i could hold off the bill payment until next pay day. Hope someone can help and isnt too baffled by this post.

Yes thats what it says...but does that mean i have to pay by 12am on the 5th? Or can i still pay on the 6th???

It depends on your method of payment.

Cutting it as fine as you appear to be is a risk.

Debit card can take three working days.

Faster Payment can be instant, but can be delayed until close of business on the working day after its sent. A Friday night payment can be delayed until Tuesday evening.

Ok, but i normally get a message from next about a minute later saying thanks formmy recent payment, and it comes out straight away x

I!!!8217;d give it a few days to clear so maybe the 1st April . But with the bank holiday coming up I would do it sooner so it clears in time

Iv paid my bill the day before my minimum payment is due before, due to forgetting and never had an issue.
