Dog boarding

Options
Hi

We are due to move home soon and are looking into the possibility of my MIL working from there

Briefly

She'd be looking at doing dog boarding to start, hopefully progressing to grooming

We fortunately have the luxury of having a couple of acres to play with and have been discussing the type of accommodation we'd like to provide for dogs, inside or out. we have looked online at the government guidelines for getting a licence, all of which is fine, however, when looking specifically on our local councils site it seems so much more restrictive. We have now looked at another 5/6 local councils to us and none seem to have the same restrictions, things such as "no wooden doors/floors/partitions etc, but how would you go around this if boarding from home as most homes are built with this, and if creating an outside area for them, then wood would be the most logical fencing/separation solution!

Any suggestions or advice welcome on how strict individual councils are, or if there is a better place for me to pose this question (other than with the LA who are closed right now!)
