Contactless Cap for zone 1?

Can someone tell me if I pay by contactless for 1 days travel in zone 1 will it be capped at £6.80 like an Oyster card? Just want to travel from Euston to South Ken by tube then maybe Oxford St and back to Euston. Thanks for any help.

    Yes, the cap for contactless is £6.80 for zones 1 and 2 on the tube
