Advice: Voluntary Severance

Hi I'm looking for advice. I have quite a lot of debt and have the chance to complete clear me debt by applying for Voluntary Severance. Although i have a decent job with a good pension scheme, i can't get my head clear with my debt. If i don't get an increase in salary soon then i would have to look for another job anyway. The VS is 1 years salary. Any advice would be appreciated

well... if you can get a comparable job with a comparable salary and comparable pension and other things equal (travelling, hours, holidays etc) fairly easily then it seems like 'free' money.0
