Due to complete - Questions

Hi Guys,
So I am due to complete on the 29th (My mortgage expires on the 30th) after much delays.
My solicitors have exchanged contracts with the sellers solicitors confirming the date will 100% be this date as they are fully aware that under my contract if my mortgage expires I am able to withdraw penalty free.
Funds have been requested from Halifax for the 28th to allow early completion on the 29th.
My question is this:
1. Are Halifax likely to run any further checks before completion ?
2. I wanted to have my Sky TV and Broadband installed ready for completion day but aware both BT and Sky do run a ‘Credit/Identity Check’ would this have any impact on me completing hitch free. I spoke to Halifax as I was unable to get hold of my broker and she said she couldn’t see it being a problem as it’s not borrowing ?
Thanks

Its not borrowing, but they are commitments and they are credit checks. I would hold off.
Unlikely they will do further checks, but not impossible.
Could you imagine having BT and sky but no house? I'm in the same position. Even Royal Mail did an ID check on my credit file for the mail redirection but that was a soft search thankfully. I'm holding off on anything that would run a credit search - I even paid for the building insurance in full to prevent a credit search!0
