Creamed chickpea and bacon soup recipe

This recipe was featured in last Wednesdays 14th March Metro online.
I sent a link to my email address but I can’t access it and although I’ve tried doing a search online in Metro and google I have been unsuccessful.
The ingredients were simple - chickpeas, bacon and stock basically but I can’t remember what else.
Did anyone by any chance have a copy or access to this recipe please?

I had a look at the Metro e edition and it differs from the Metro app.
So I can’t find the recipe there..0 -

The only advice I can add is the recommendation to skin the cooked chickpeas. Time-consuming, but so worth it.Value-for-money-for-me-puhleeze!

I was thinking of using a smoked pork sausage, instead of bacon, there is one has a wee bit chilli in it, extra kick.0
