Hi
After recieving a statuary demand from Connaught collections I came on this website to sought for advice which I found to be very helpful. I had been advised to write a letter to them saying I do not any debt to your company and requesting CCA along with a £1 postal order.
I sent this letter and recieved a response from Connaught (they sent back also my postal order) saying that they were passing it back to 1st Credit. now after more than 30 working days I recieve a letter from another company saying if I dont pay the amount to 1st Credit within the next 7 days, debt collection will take place.
Any advice on how I can put an end to this for good?
Thank you.

You need to send the letter to the lender and not the debt collectors.
If the debt is with 1st Credit, then send the letter and the £1 to them.Warning ..... I'm a peri-menopausal axe-wielding maniac
