Debt collection/1st Credit. Please help!

Hi

After recieving a statuary demand from Connaught collections I came on this website to sought for advice which I found to be very helpful. I had been advised to write a letter to them saying I do not any debt to your company and requesting CCA along with a £1 postal order.

I sent this letter and recieved a response from Connaught (they sent back also my postal order) saying that they were passing it back to 1st Credit. now after more than 30 working days I recieve a letter from another company saying if I dont pay the amount to 1st Credit within the next 7 days, debt collection will take place.

Any advice on how I can put an end to this for good?

Thank you.

  • You need to send the letter to the lender and not the debt collectors.

If the debt is with 1st Credit, then send the letter and the £1 to them.
