Any suggestions for sweat smells in my OH's work shirts? Sometimes I get to the ironing stage before I smell it, then I have to go back and soak them in stardrops before washing again - or should I just soak them anyway?

    Thanks

That drives me nuts!! I tend to add a scoop of soda crystals to the drawer. It seems to help, but they're never completely perfect.
I'd rather be a could-be if I cannot be an are; because a could-be is a maybe who is reaching for a star. I'd rather be a has-been than a might-have-been, by far; for a might have-been has never been, but a has was once an are – Milton Berle

Mix a solution of 1 part white vinegar and 3 water in a spray bottle and give the armpits a good spray before washing. Always add a scoop of washing soda to your powder and this should do the trick.

Another advocate of soda crystals here, I had a stain on a pair of trousers which no amount of washing/pre-washing/stain remover treatment seemed to shift, put a scoop of soda crystals in with the washload and it came out first time.

They seem to make the washing smell far fresher and cleaner than any detergent ever has! AND it's far cheaper too. Added bonus.
