la senza bad service or postal strike ?

hiya

i placed a large order with la senza on the 3rd oct, i still havent recieved it yet, the lady who i spoke to was not very friendly and totally blamed royal mail and said i just have to wait for it to be delivered, i said well what if i dont recieve it, she said i have to wait for royal mail to refund them then they will give me a refund, this drives me mad as i didnt order it from Royal mail !!

I had the same problem, i ordered just after you, mine turned up a week after the strike finished, think i received it last week some time. When i e-mailed they said any orders received when the strike was on wasnt sent out but they waited (or something), but i would wait a bit longer.

Have no idea about them getting refunded from royal first before they refund you, this doesnt sound right to me and i would persue that. I know their orders are sent via recorded delivery, have you checked the number on royal mail site?

I ordered on the 5th and recieved on friday if that is any use

I don't know of any online retailers who wait for Royal Mail to refund them first before they refund the customer. That sounds very weird in itself.

I placed an order on the 3rd and received an email on the 5th to say that my order had been processed.

I still haven't received it and telephoned customer services this morning. The rather unfriendly woman on the phone said that all orders placed between the 3rd and 5th weren't despatched until the 10th. She wasn't very helpful and just snapped that I'd have to wait until the 26th before phoning them again.

I too placed an order on 3rd Oct and received an email on 4th to say it had been dispatched. I still hadn't received it as of Friday so will be placing a call to them tomorrow.

I ordered from them on the first day of their online sale(cant remember the date) and it did take ages, but i think it was because of the strike.

i also ordered on the 1st day of sale and it nearly took 2 weeks to get my order if that's any help, my orders usually come boxed but this time just came in a la senza sale bag within a grey envelope packet

I ordered with them on the 2nd and didnt receive my package till friday last week. It also wasnt boxed, plus they substituted the PJs I ordered with another pair - was pretty unhappy so refunded them at a store over the weekend. What a pointless activity as a whole!

i ordered on first day of sale and was getting concerned that i hadn't received it. if you check on the email that they send they quote a recorded delivery number and you can track it online with royal mail. I got mine last week though and was disappointed also in the packaging but everything was there that i ordered. Good luck i hope it comes soon.
