I've just had a set aside application successful so gone through all manner of hoops and learning during the process.
Sure someone with more experience will answer, but I'm pretty sure the onus would have been on them to prove the debt in the first instance to get the CCJ. What happened when they first tried to get the CCJ, did you defend it then or was it sent to an old address?0 -
Was your wife a named holder of another card on the same account, a card that would have had a different number from your own, and if so, did she run up the alleged debt without your knowledge?0

Sorry you were not successful.
It can be difficult to obtain a set aside in these cases, as the court can only look at certain specific reasons as to why it should be granted.
Your argument may of worked if you have been able to respond to the initial claim form.
