Recommendations for point & shoot camera

Hi All
We are holidaying with family in a few days and I wanted to take an easy to use, point & shoot budget camera with me to capture those special moments.
I only have a budget of around £100 and I understand it won't be the best camera in the world, though I prefer a camera to using a phone.
I have tried looking at some that are available but there is a lot of specialised terminology to learn!
Any recommendations would be appreciated, something simple to use, good photos the priority rather than extras that I would neber use, like wifi, etc.

I have an earlier model in the Sony Cybershot range and it is an amazing little camera and so easy to use. It takes really clear pictures and has simple modes such as 'easy' 'twilight' 'landscape' etc. I still prefer it to a phone.
