Tesco clubcard vouchers

Hi

I discovered some clubcard vouchers in my postal pile as I was going through everything before my annual accounts.

There is £6 worth and in date.

I am aware that clubcard sends you new vouchers to replace old ones when they are not spent. I am just curious as to whether they would replace "in date" vouchers?

Also how can I check if they are still valid?

That's new to me - any reference?

Aren't all vouchers having the expiry date printed on them?

they do i may have got the wrong end of the stick. Ihad identical voucher amounts sent to me in exactly the same denominations and I assumed they were duplicates sent to replace the older ones.

They do have an expiry date and are still in date.

How often do you sort your paperwork out as the vouchers have a 2 year life on them  I can't see them exchanging in date vouchers.

OMG!!! I found £30 of unused vouchers on my online account. I only have £15 worth in my hand.

Another question... can these vouchers be used in tesco pumps?

You can spend your vouchers as they are online, in store or at the pump.

Only if you have the vouchers. The vouchers than you have found in your account but dont have the physical bits of paper can only be spent online

If you've lost vouchers, and can see that you have more in MCA. Moreover you need physical vouchers to use them (as opposed to using the voucher codes online.
Then, Clubcard card convert them back to points, and they will come back to you in new vouchers (together with what you've earned in the period) in the next mailing period.

If OTOH you have two sets of identical vouchers for the same period. It's probably because either one set has been printed at home, or the mailing was delayed reaching you, you complained and another set was set - but the first set would have been cancelled.
I used to work for Tesco - now retired - speciality Clubcard
  • Just be careful if you exchange your clubcard points for Chef and Brewer vouchers, if you have vouchers worth more than the bill and use your vouchers you lose the full value of the voucher.

I spent my points on vouchers worth £64, on voucher for £60 and one for £4. My wife an I went for a meal that came to just short of £30, I was told that if I use the £60 voucher it's no longer valid so I used the £4 and paid the difference.

If you decide to do this buy your vouchers in small batches.
