Save money by not buying one
If you really need a thermometer and a nightlight, try B&Q. You can buy nightlights that plug into a socket and a normal thermometer for a couple of quid.
I've brought 3 children up without a thermometer, but we did have a nightlight in the socket next to the bathroom door, so they could find their way to the loo in the night! Here I go again on my own....0 -

For £18, however the delivery is £2.00 - but it's £3 for 2 items, £4 for 3 items or more so it depends what you wish to order.
I did use a thermometer for DD and I felt happier doing so as her room was quite cold at the time. I have bought one of these for no. 2 - I appreciate that many people would say that they are not needed. But for me I decided I wanted one and as I've saved a lot of money on other stuff I've felt this expenditure ok and within my budget.

Just £17.45 and UK delivery is only 99p!!!
I used a thermometer when my son was little as his room was sometimes cold, plus I used gift vouchers to pay for it.
I wish it had been as fancy as this one.0 -
We used this with our dd and plan on using it again with number 2, as we were sing sleepingbags rather than blankets and sheets I felt more comfortable. We asked a few family members to not buy the nw arrival an outfit and put 5 pounds towards it so didn't have to pay for it ourselves.
Must say though the peace of mind dd was in the correct tog for the correct temp was a god send0
