A house we are interested in is going to closing date on Monday...
If we are successful how quickly do we have to have our mortgage in place. The reason I ask is my partner is CIS and our broker has advised we will get better deals/rates with the figures from his upcoming tax return (his accountant has agreed to have this done on the 6th April)
The estate agent doesnt see this being an issue, but im worried.
Maybe over nothing, but cant help myself.
Any advice?

It depends on how quickly the seller wants to move. It would probably help if you could demonstrate at least an AIP.0

We have an AIP with halifax.
The house was bought for cheap renovated and now they are selling on.0 -
Check when the seller bought the property (search for sold prices on major property websites), as many lenders don't give a mortgage if the current owner had owned the property for less than 6-12 months. This is due to anti-money laundering concerns. Just checked and Halifax requires min 6 months ownership on the seller's part.I am a Mortgage BrokerYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a Mortgage Adviser, so you need to take my word for it. They bought it in August last year... so just outwith this. The home report value is double what they paid, but the estate agent said there hoping for an additional 15k on top of that. Not that we will be offering that, but will put our best offer in & hope for the best.0
