I had a terrible accident a few years ago, this left me unable to return to my previous job as a joiner. We lost our house and ended up in a lot of debt, we tried lots of work from home ads only to find most were scams or just didn't make money. Only ones we found that worked were the well known door to door catalogue companies, one of which we still work with very part time. I won't name names I'm sure you all know who they are. Best advice I can give is ask yourself would you buy the products? Ask to see proof of turnover and income. Don't part with any money to buy stock, any decent trustworthy company will not expect you to do so. Check out the DSA site for company info, if they are not there BEWARE!!!!

Hi
Yes you do need to be careful but there are genuine opportunities. I think we are with the same company as you !0 -
I agree with all of the above; how many web based '$50,000 in 3 months - guaranteed' ads do you see? Whenever I see those appear the alarm bells all ring and I don't go near them; I have no idea what their product is, or even if they have one at all.
I think you need to like the product you are involved with and find a company with a uniqueness to it; something that sets it apart from the others.
Keep your initial investment to a minimum, order products when you need them and use the company's warehouse as 'your' warehouse - if they are good then they should offer next day delivery on your orders.
Personally I do very little retailing, but a lot of sponsoring - thus I move product via my recruiting activities. I'm sure there are dozens of ways of doing business, each person will identify the one that works for them.Mike0
