Just need it to get the house up to scratch
New 3pc suite ..when dog dies..as he ruined it!
Carpets
Put a funeral plan away
Poss new doors and windows for shed
OK so thats the bucket list
Both in early 70's, one son in relationship and doesnt need financial help
Dont need a car. nor holidays
no debts to pay off ( the football ST is always on a 0% CC)
cant grasp all the various offers BUT would one do this
About 15k to cover the above
And one that does an interest only type of repayment rather than it racking up as some have mentioned on here
And if that is an option roughly what would be the monthly interest payment? or is it a length of string type enquiry
As my only big financial encounter was the mortgage, i am a bit naive about all this, and wiki muddies the waters even more.
hope the answer is out there...even a no chance would help
Thanks

I do not do equity release, I refer them over to someone I know.
One that allows the interest to be paid, my understanding is that the interest starts from around 4% per year, however deals are changing on a regular basis.
There is nothing you have said that makes me think it can not be done but as mentioned, I am not qualified to advise on them.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it.
