The Jamie Oliver recipe I mentioned above must be for something different because (as far as I remember) it uses bread dough. Still very tasty though!

The wrappers are different from the pancakes. They are labelled "dumpling wrappers" although I think you could use the wonton wrappers. The only thing I found was that they aren't wrapped separately in 6s like the panckes but in one lump of 100 - but you can cleave a section off the frozen lump and just defrost that.

I was lucky enough to have a taiwanese guest make them when she stayed and i am now defrosting some for lunch. They did take her ages but are so delicious and they do freeze easily in batches, so can be made ahead. She used special frozen wrapers that she bought from the local chinese supermarket
