Alton Towers - Splash Landings

Anybody know of any discount codes for splash landings and also do you need to book in advance. I am thinking of going next week - half term.

Thanks.

Do you mean staying at the Hotel or just going to the Water Park?
We stayed at the Alton Towers Hotel last year (not the splash landings Hotel) and pre-booked our tickets to the waterpark as I think it was a bit cheaper to book the tickets in advance....I should imagine it would be better to book in advance for half term as it will prob. be busy. (We went in December and the place was empty!)

Just wondered if someone who has been to the Alton Towers Water Park can tell me what it is like. We are going on Wednesday this week and I dont know what to expect. Is it indoors/outdoors? Do you need swimwear etc etc
    Many Thanks in advance
  • Yes you will need your costumes as it is a swimming pool!!! It's indoor and outdoor, several big slides, lazy river, shallow pool, kids pool, jacuzzi and waterworks where the kids turn on taps to soak other people etc.

There is a cafe where you can get lunch & drinks etc but at alton towers prices. might be worth smuggling a few bottles of pop in under your towel if you are going to be there all day.

Its fab & i hope you have a good time.
The cleaning and scrubbing will wait till tomorrow, For children grow up, as I've learned to my sorrow.
So quiet down, cobwebs. Dust go to sleep. I'm rocking my baby and babies don't keep.
