Vente Privee

Options
I have just seen Vente Privee advertised on the Free Postcode Lottery's website and wondered if any moneysavers had used it before. If so, was your experience a positive one?

  • Generally high quality designer brands at good discounts but postage is expensive (£7) and although you get it back if you return you have to pay the costs of returning so not great unless you are unsure about sizes. Based in France so delivery times are often looong and on more than one occasion I have lost interest by the time it turns up. Delivery is by Yodel from what I recall so not the most reliable, flexible or easy to track. Oh and stuff in their flash sales disappears faster than Glastonbury tickets.

I received an email from vente-privee this morning:

Every day for the past 11 years, we have done our best to surprise you with the best brands, at the best prices.

Unfortunately, the current circumstances of economic uncertainty have led us to the decision to take a break in our activities.

As a result, as from March 6th, Veepee will close all the sales in the United Kingdom for an indefinite period.

If you have recently ordered from us, you will be informed of your order’s status as per usual.

I was a happy customer and have had plenty of bargains over the years.

Another email this evening from VeePee to say Brexit is driving them mad and they are not going anywhere. Still open and ready for business.
