How long does it take for payment for bus on card

Bought a weekly ticket last week, and Im sure it varies but wondered in general.
A £1 card authorisation was taken straight away (but now doesn't show) its now a week later and payment hasn't been taken.
Just wondered if this was normal behaviour. (the fact im trying to get a refund from them of course doesn't help!)
This was Firstbus Glasgow.
