leftover fish and chips

Options
So last night we treated ourselves to fish and chips as we're in the middle of a house move and didn't feel like cooking.
Bought a portion for the friend who's helping us but he didn't want them so they're in the fridge. Can we do anything with them?

Was thinking of scraping the batter off the fish and making fishcakes then reheating the chips in the oven and having fishcakes, beans and chips. Other inspired ideas welcome!!!! I don't think either of us wants batter two nights running though....

Could you take the batter off the fish and then just make a white sauce or parsley sauce to cover it?
