Holiday let mortgage

I have a house on a holiday let mortgage, as well as my residential property. My job is about to relocate temporarily to the place the holiday let is located.
The holiday let has a one bedroom annexe. If I lived in the annexe, would the mortgage company frown on this? Would they call in the mortgage?
When I filled in the application, there was a question about was I intending to live in more than 40% of the house, so I have started to think it may be ok to do what I'm considering as the annexe is about 20%. I don't want to ask them in case it has ramifications!
The mortgage is on a 3 year fix with 6 months to run. Is there such a thing as part residential part holiday let mortgage I could switch to? I wouldn't be able to switch to a residential mortgage as I don't earn enough.
It would solve all my problems if I could live in the annexe

You need to read the mortgage conditions. The lender can only "frown" if they have the right to do so.0
