Kettle Catastrophe!

Hi All,

Our kettle blew up last night (most spectacular!) so today I need to purchase a new one. Anyone know of any good delas to be had? We'd like a nice snazzy one rather than just a basic cheap one but are on a serious budget due to saving for a house!

Sainburys have some on offer, Breville shines blue when plugged in then red when heating. £24.99.

I just got a lovely swan kettle and toaster in cream a bit art decoey??? looking from the additions catalogue, came the next day its in cream and chrome to go with my new kitchen :j

Argos giving vouchers away with purchases as the moment. I think it's £5 if under £50 pound spent and £10 over.

Not quite! A £5 voucher if you spend over £50 and Under £100, or a £10 Voucher if you spend over £100!

I'm really keen on my new Tesco kettle, but they don't seem to have it online..? It looks exactly like the Prestige Deco kettles (which are around £45), but it's only £12 at my local Tesco Extra!



The element is in the base, so it's "quick boil" and you really can just boil a single cup of tea (energy-saving!) because you don't need to cover the element.

the one mentioned above did well in the review - it's also heavily featured on coronation street in Roy's Rolls at the minute
