I dont understand why you would keep this information from the broker. After all they arent the ones who are going to make the decision but merely will guide you to the right product and increase your chances of obtaining a mortgage. Always best to be open and honest from the start.
As for will it make an issue I guess now theres only one way to find out. Wait and see.

You did remarkably well to achieve that overnight. Some actions raise more questions than answers.

I am interested to know how you cleared it all in a month but if there are no defaults showing on your credit history you should hopefully be fine.

Me and my girlfriend are currently going through the process of buying a new house with HTB.

My credit score now is excellent with Experian now. But up to mid last year I had an overdraft, 3 credit cards and a few payday loans to my name. And a very poor credit score. In May last year I sorted myself out and cleared everything.

We have just had a mortgage in principle offered to us from Halifax for the 75% mortgage, we are just going through the wait of the help to buy forms been accepted and then our full mortgage offer will be put forward.

We are using a mortgage advisor that has seen my credit report and not asked any questions so I haven’t mentioned about it, are we going to be okay when the full application is processed or will this come back to bite me?
