use of Broker for small Mortgage

Options
Hello All

First time posting so apologies if I've posted in the wrong place/topic. We are looking to buy a small property and as such would be looking at a relatively small mortgage (approx 85k). Is it worth arranging this through a broker? Would they even be interested in dealing with such a small mortgage?

Regards

D

I'd hope any broker would be happy to help. Though most would probably charge a fee rather than charge the lender a % of the mortgage.

85k is a typical sized mortgage in our area. So, whilst you call it small, it may not be depending on your area.

  • I don't call it small LOL, but I thought it might be considered though in the current market :)

I arranged 2 mortgages through a broker - one for 50k and one for £41k.
