paidopinionsonline.com

Hey,
I've been searching Google for some survey and opinion sites that offer good rewards and came across paidopinionsonline.com. It claims you can earn from £10 to £150 per hour from answering online surveys. :j

This sounds too good to be true to me and the fact you have to pay a "one off payment of £32 to register" makes it seem even more suspicious.

So, after all the waffle, i'm after any info i can get about them. Anyone heard about them? Anyone joined?
Thanks in advance
Kate

From reading the site, I get the impression they will send you a list of survey companies, mystery shopping companies and market research/focus group companies. If you look yourself, you can find such companies and websites where work is posted for free.

The company is run from a "virtual office", where their mail is forwarded on to wherever they may be.

I would save your money, and find the information yourself for free.

Surveys don't usually pay that much anyway. It's either tiny cash amounts that you have to build up before you can cash out, or points that you can swop for gift vouchers. They're handy for pin money, but you cannot rely on making an income from them.
Here I go again on my own....
  • I make a good secondary income from completing surveys but the rates are nothing like that site is claiming - more like £1 to £2 each wth plenty less than that. The big money comes either from specialist surveys - eg if you run the IT department of a big company, and have control of the finances, or if you attend discussion groups in person.

You also don't need to pay to get a list of companies wanting your opinion. The one I use is http://www.whichsurveys.com which has quite a few pages of UK sites

Global Test Marketing pay out in cash when you reach 1,000 points ... 50 - 70 points a survey, cheque sent from America each month for between about £25.

Valued Opinions and Ipos both reliable, but payment in vouchers.

Lightspeed not bad, but surveys can be infrequent ... payment in vouchers or into PayPal account.

ItsYourView OK and pay out in cash when you get to 50 points ... each survey about 3 points and can be very infrequent.

Test & Vote OK ... chance to earn extra points by offering opinions, etc. Rewards pretty limited.

I do a lot of surveys and, believe me, you won't make any more than pin money by completing them. However, they can be fun to do and you can sometimes get the chance to try out new products on the market for free. I've had toothpaste, body wash, washing powder, soap and quite a few other things to sample over the last few years and even won a prize draw once of £100!

However, don't expect too much and don't believe what you read on the Internet. Be prepared to spend a lot of time doing surveys for little return. I use my vouchers to buy books (Amazon) and make-up (Boots) in the main and only receive cheques rarely.

    Hope this helps.

    Hi
I just tried to sign up for consumer lifestyles through an email link - does anyone know if they are any good? I actually failed to sign up as the flipping questionnaire kept saying I needed to enter details to continue even when i already had, so if anyone can get extra cash for referring me, pm the link and I'll do that...
    Cheers
