Spotted today in The Guardian Guide:Randstad, the world's third largest recruitment company, is celebrating the opening of its City branch in London, by hosting a free family fun day aboard our very own tall ship.
If you are wondering how to keep your children amused this half term, then join us on Stad Amsterdam. The ship will be docked at West India Docks, London on Thursday 25 October for a pirate packed day on the Thames.
From 11am-4pm, the Stad Amsterdam will be awash with activities to entertain everyone and ensure you don’t end up making your little pirates walk the plank! Face painting, crew demos and a factual treasure hunt guarantees fun for all the family.

You will need to fill out a copy of the form on the website and take photo ID for all adults.
Randstad are a recruitment agency, so be aware that some marketing may be involved, but they are also raising money for the Cutty Sark Trust and will be soliciting donations from visitors.
I hope you lucky MSEers who get to go have a great day. I just wish I could go with number one son who loves boats. Maybe I'll throw a sicky...

Yeah and take a free drink and the next thing you know you're hoisting the mainsail round the Cape of Good Hope!!
A shadowy flight into the dangerous world of a man who does not exist.
A young loner on a crusade to champion the cause of the innocent,
the helpless, the powerless, in a world of criminals who operate above the law.0 -
Sorry to post on something which has finished but I just wanted to thank the OP for an excellent post. We had a great day on the ship. The crew were fantastic, great fun and very helpful with the children. (Embarrassing how well the Dutch can speak English !)
