How long do you bake 2 Xmas cakes for?!

I've just put two 8inch Xmas cakes in the oven and was wondering if I should increase the cooking time?
Should I have put them in together? Probably not - but I thought it might save a bit of gas.
It's probably a silly question - but then again, I am very silly at times:p

I don't think it will make any difference to the time. I always double/treble batches of baking and have never increased the cooking time.
The only time I would increase cooking time is if I was putting more cake mixture than specified into a bigger tin. It would definitely take longer to cook.0 -
