Well it would be worth it :)

77 in total, and with no pain relief in the end. Was definitely worth it though.

DH had a hospital appointment this morning and finally got home about half hour ago! A lot of the time was hanging around for a prescription. Why on earth the hospital doesn't hand out prescriptions you can pick up locally I'll never understand. They always used to but stopped it under "efficiency measures"!

    Today's plan:

B - porridge with mixed frozen fruit
    L - LO chicken curry
D - chicken kiev, potatoes and veg

Was peckish at the hospital but of cpurse nothing healthy available so shared a chicken salad sanwich with DH - 8 syns?

    HEA - milk
    HEB - porridge
    Syns - 1/2 sandwich 8?

WI for me tomorrow morning - hoping I've done enough to be back in target range!

Only got a couple of weeks to my next holiday - no idea how I managed to go to work before retirement!

    Hi everyone.

Sorry I've been AWOL for a few days. Thanks for the new thread Chrisv and well done SOTW Kathrynha! Lush I hope you get good news re your Dad soon. Nicki if you're reading, have a fabulous time.

Having a rubbish week so far - my meals are all on plan, it's the rest that's the problem, so I'm expecting a gain this week. I have no idea why I do this because I don't really enjoy the snacky stuff when I eat it. As I've worked this week, I've eaten at odd times which doesn't help me eat sensibly (eg breakfast at 7.30, lunch at 10.30am, hit the biscuits at 3.00!). On a brighter note I've discovered I can use the gym at my workplace for free before 5pm so I really have no excuse! There's no pool but I think there's a deal with local pools included - I will investigate further next week.

Yesterday I made some Scotch eggs with Linda McCartney rosemary and red onion sausages defrosted and mashed up - they went down very well for lunch (at 11.00 today!) so one to do again.

Blue sky and a bit of late sunshine here - Spring is on it's way!
    Take care all.

Welcome to the thread. You've made a good start so far. Won't take you to long to get to target.

Kathrynha will add you to the challenge when she sees your post. 1lb a week is a healtny and achievable loss.

You may find it helpful to post your daily menus as lots of us do, but of course it isn't compulsory, LOL!
