Disagreement with bus driver

Obviously I was in the wrong but people who follow rules anally in my opinion (often in the UK) with no flexibility are stupid as well. I didn't deliberately go into the wrong lane. I would have let the car/van through if I realized it was a genuine mistake on their part. I was very stressed at the time and reacted like I did. Wouldn't normally.
My question is ,can these buses record and video verbal exchanges and prosecute?
How is the bus driver meant to know if it was a genuinely mistake or a deliberate one?
You shouldn't verbally abuse someone when you're in the wrong though regardless of anything else.
Yes, they can record video and audio and yes you could be prosecuted, but it seems unlikely that it will actually happen. All your base are belong to us.0 -
Reminds me of a bus driver who for no good reason went from being nice to me to always winding me up to the point of me snapping at him.0

Ive been stopped from reversing into a parking spot by a jealous bus driver. So I held him up for 10 minutes while we argued about why he wouldnt let me park.
First of all assume everyone on the road is a nutcase and is suffering from depression. Secondly theres no point getting angry or even responding to them. Sometimes they are in the wrong and you will have to clear the path or reverse 30 feet as I have to keep the traffic flowing and not inconvenience others.
Your mate got angry because he sees this behaviour regularly by car drivers who never give way to buses and act like fools towards them. We all have some degree of pride, But sometimes you have to as the young people say nowadays take the L and move over and let the nutcases go and harrass someone else. While you get on with your day having avoided confrontation or worst case a fight to the death over something trivial.
Whether police visit you or not depends on "resources" Highly unlikely0 -
Why do you say 'jealous' bus driver? I was taught by my driving instructor to always give way to buses as part of the 'courtesy to all road users' in the highway code. So I am. I would never try to park if a bus was coming and if I wanted to park and a bus was in the way I'd just move on. There is absolutely no point in getting agitated and worked up to the point of road rage, it's not worth it. Courtesy, even when they (i.e. everyone else) are in the wrong, my instructor drilled into me. It's served me well, it really has. And don't forget that bus drivers are on the road for so much longer than us, they can't always be bright as a button, can they? (Plus, their vehicles are much bigger and heavier than mine!)Please note - taken from the Forum Rules and amended for my own personal use (with thanks) : It is up to you to investigate, check, double-check and check yet again before you make any decisions or take any action based on any information you glean from any of my posts.
