Will moving impact my mortgage?

I have bought a HTB but it won't be ready to move in until November. I have not yet applied for a mortgage and my partner is moving to San Francisco in August and we are both moving out of our rented property due to our tenancy being up and I was going to move into shared accommodation.

Will this impact anything?

    There's no reason it should.

When you say you've "bought it" what do you actually mean?
If you haven't even applied for a mortgage I find that unlikely.

And what do you mean your partner is "moving to San Francisco" ? Is that long term?
Is that for employment? Because they are leaving you? Will they be paid whilst there? By whom and in what currency?

Were they buying with you or were you buying alone?
