What is the anniversary of my mortgage??

Hi. Hoping someone can advise - I have a nationwide mortgage on which I'm making overpayments. I'm probably not going to manage to get near the 10% a year limit but what is 'a year'? Is it:
A. The anniversary of date I took the mortgage out?
B. The anniversary of date I fixed a new deal?
C. The end of the calender year?
All three are different and i can't find it anywhere on my mortgage statement that clearly defines it.
