Halifax online swap experience

Hi guys
I just want to let anyone know that the Halifax swapping deals online is sooo easy
It literally took 10 minutes and there were no credit checks or affordability checks.
This was keeping the term and value the same but I do plan overpayments which should reduce it by 2 years :T

i did the swap 2 years ago and was also impressed with how easy it was.

do you mind me asking what made you want to stick with halifax this time? i was tempted to fix with them again but the rates didn't seem too competitive.

i've tried for a better rate elsewhere knowing that i have the halifax rate in 10 minutes as a fall back.

if you cba to shop around it might be more beneficial to you too?!! of course rates might also go up in the meantime so it is a bit of a risk (and lots of effort)

Hi prufrock, I only have around 30,000 left on the mortgage and it should be finished in 5 years max and by the time I factor in the fees of moving it made more sense to just stick with Halifax.
The rates are a little higher but like I say no fees and fix in 3 month early
